Are all resistors created equal? Almost all types of resistors manufactured now-a-days are manufactured with either "small" size bodies or "normal" size bodies. Cheaper "small" body type resistors have a lower working voltage than their "normal" body size counterpart. The "small" body type resistors are fine for most transistor radios....but they can not handle the voltage needed in tube electronics. "Small" body resistors are way cheaper (half the price) of "normal" body type....but as the saying goes..."you get what you pay for". If you are restoring tube based electronics "small" body type resistors should be avoided.
Resistors in all of our kits are "high voltage normal" size. We do not carry the cheaper "low voltage small" resistors.
